Maria Zesati

Biography:
Maria is a fourth-year undergrad student at UCLA and is on track to receive her B.S. in Psychobiology. She has volunteered with different organizations like the Black and Latino AIDS Project and the Latino Student Health Project to provide preventative health education and services to underserved communities who face many healthcare disparities. She is currently a member of the UMMA Volunteer Project where she teaches kids the importance of  health and exercise through different projects and activities. Maria hopes to pursue a career in medicine and specialize in psychiatry. She is interested in working with underserved populations to address their mental and behavioral needs utilizing conventional medical treatments along with non-conventional treatments.
