Biography:

Felix is a second-year graduate student in the UCLA Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program. He received his B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017, while working with Dr. Joseph R. Cohen. Following graduation, Felix worked at Loyola University Chicago’s Risk and Resilience lab with Dr. Maryse Richards studying the effectiveness of a community-based cross-aged peer mentoring program in low-income, high violence urban neighborhoods. He also spent some time working as a behavioral technician with Comprehensive Early Autism Services. His current research interests include developmental psychopathology, specifically understanding pathways of emotional distress for adolescents.
